In These Very Woods is a horror anthology feature film that showcases both the talent of BC filmmakers and the eerie beauty of the Pacific Northwest. This co-production between Bad Cookie Pictures and Tooth and Nail Pictures will feature tales of terror from Jordan Waunch, Rami Kahlon & Muhammed Iqmal, Eva & Hunter Grant, Mik Narciso & Joel H. Brewster, Christopher “Topher” Graham, and Ariel Hansen.
Tourist Season
During the hottest Summer on record best friends Holly, a shy entomologist, and Liz, a wannabe scream queen, must team up with a mysterious crypto zoologist and a rock star to save Victoria, BC from the Thetis Lake Monster while navigating the changes adulthood and responsibility have brought to their friendship.

Written by Joel H. Brewster of Westcoast Strange and directed by Ariel Hansen, Tourist Season is a feature film that combines the two filmmakers’ experiences growing up in the tourist-centric capital of British Columbia with their love for cryptids and the local story of the Thetis Lake Monster.
