Jordan Barnes-Crouse is a lifelong lover of genre cinema and has spent the past five years sharpening his production skills in Vancouver’s indie film scene. He frequently lends his talents as cinematographer and editor to Bad Cookie Pictures, having shot and edited their debut short Ready to Burst before going on to lens the Storyhive funded The Man in the Rabbit Mask. He later picked up a Best Cinematography award for Paint the Town Red at the following year’s Tales Beyond the Bar filmmaking challenge, presented by Jameson and Hammer & Tong. More recently he returned to shoot Ariel Hansen’s Nepenthes as well as edit Christopher Graham’s The Devil and I for the duo’s crowdfunded Bad Cookie Combo, who in turn co-produced his latest directorial effort Time Heals No Wounds along with Luchagore Productions and his own co-founded Off World Pictures. They continue to work together on various projects and co-productions, including the horror comedy Parlour Tricks, directorial debut of actor and performer Tristan Risk.
